Few people are used to set up their signature at the footer of their emails, it would really depend if it’s their business email or their personal email.
But we must acknowledge that branding will always be there regardless of your emails being for personal or business matters.
Building your brand can be time-consuming but it’s important to be constantly adding value and content to strengthen your brand awareness.
We recommend most of our clients to use Google Apps for Work since their performance and customer service is just superb.
Now…why am I talking about Google Apps, Google offers plenty of different services along with their business plans like Gsuites, better known for Google Suites. It’s basically a Gmail app that allows you to connect your existing domain with their web email software, for instance, our email firstname.lastname@example.org is hosted on gsuites and connected with our domain. If your business is also hooked up to gsuites you should see on your email home screen on the top right an image of your business or the first letter of your name and who is managing that property.
Although there are different alternatives to customize your emails and give them a fancy look, today we will show you probably the easiest way with only a couple clicks. It’s important to mention that this will only work if you’re sending emails from your computer and you must have an active Google Suites Licence.
Perfect! Let’s get started.
First of all, you will need to follow the next steps:
- Login to your Google Business Email – Click Here To Login
- On the top right corner, click on the settings icon
- On the drop-down menu click on Settings
- Then click on the Advanced Tab it should look like this:
- On canned responses make sure you Enable them.
- You’re all set!
If you have installed the plugin and activated the canned responses you should be all set!
So you should be asking yourself… how can I have good looking emails?
Well now that you have your plugin installed login to your Google Business Email – Click Here To Login
A small Gmail icon should appear right next to the send button try to identify it on the picture below.
You should now see a pop-up screen like this:
On the left side of the screen, you must paste the code provided by your brand’s marketing department. If you don’t have a code yet please reach for help now. We can easily generate your brands’ template and send it over to you so you can just paste it and click the Insert button.
Great! Now that you’ve inserted your code it’s time to save it for the next time!
Click on the 3 dots at the bottom right side > canned responses > save the draft as template > save as new template > Name it
You’ve successfully saved your first email template!
If you ever wanna insert it again make sure you click those 3 buttons again > canned responses > You should see your saved template
